M1 -wood floor adhesive

BergerBond® M1 is a fast-curing, general-purpose SMP-wood floor adhesive based on high-quality, silane-modified polyurethane raw materials. The adhesive is M1 indoor air classified. The bond is strong but elastic. Suitable for tension-free bonding of 10 mm solid parquet, mosaic, strip and finished parquet as well as 15–22 mm solid wood planks and vertical wood parquet in accordance with DIN EN 14293. Also suitable for bonding most exotic wood species and thin-strip parquet. The adhesive is therefore suitable for almost all types of parquet.
BergerBond® M1 is solvent-free and water-free, and is suitable for under chairs with castors. Using BergerBond® M1 achieves shrinkage-free, fast and secure bonding.

According to my own experience, it is very pleasant to use. The adhesive is suitable for flexible and easy to apply, but retains its shape well.

Indicative adhesive consumption on a flat surface (recommended adhesive trowel in brackets)

For bonding cork-polyurethane impact sound insulation (B2) 600-800 g/m2 (25-34 m2 / 21 kg)

For bonding cork (A2) 400-450 g/m2 (approx. 47 m2 / 21 kg)

For bonding mosaic parquet (B3) 800-1000 g/m2 (20-26 m2 / 21 kg)

For bonding small-sized finished parquet (B5) 1000-1200 g/m2 (17-21 m2 / 21 kg)

For gluing large-sized finished parquet (B13) 1100-1300 g/m2 (16-18 m2 / 21 kg)

For gluing solid planks (B15) 1400-1500 g/m2 (13-14 m2 / 21 kg)

Note! The recommended consumptions are approximate estimates for a flat surface. The installer must ensure the correct amount of glue and sufficient adhesion by testing the glue before starting the work and by observing the result of the glueing as the work progresses.
